Quentin Wodon is Director of the UNESCO International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa (UNESCO IICBA) based in Addis Ababa. Ms. Adeola Adefemi, a public-school teacher teaching English as a second language to senior secondary school students in Nigeria, won the African Union’s Continental Best Teacher Award.
