PQE Past Questions

Comprehensive collection of Professional Qualifying Examination questions organised by qualification categories

What is the PQE?

The Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) is the computer-based examination that candidates take as part of registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), with diets held in May and November. Candidates sit the examination under four qualification categories: Category A for Ph.D. holders, Category B for Master's degree holders, Category C for holders of a Bachelor's degree or PGDE, and Category D for holders of the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE). The syllabus covers five core areas — Pedagogy, Literacy, Numeracy, ICT, and Safeguarding.

See the full PQE curriculum guide for the syllabus in detail, or visit the teacher registration page for the registration process, categories and fees.
